Customers would come to our Client’s site, spend time selecting their products, but then got cold feet when it was time to checkout. Nearly 85% of customers were leaving without completing their purchase.
OUR SOLUTION
Save My Cart email
Bombyx Labs added a simple “Save My Cart” button that encouraged visitors to email themselves a copy of the cart items. In addition to the cart email, they also received a series of follow-up emails that were specific to their product — helpful tips, instructions for use, price comparisons, and if all else failed, a 10% discount offer.
THE RESULT
$35k increase in monthly sales
68% of email recipients completed their purchase.
25% of customers bought after the first email.
The “lost leads” became a major bump in revenue, and the customers who received the emails were 2x less likely to contact customer service. With this major success, the Client added other lead capture systems elsewhere on the site!

The small business owner despised a task that took nearly 2 weeks and must be repeated every quarter: he had to manually review new paint swatches, eyeball a matching RGB code, and enter all paint information into the database. Colors on the site were not always accurate, so often customers were unhappy with the paint they received.
OUR SOLUTION
AI Agents complete the job in hours
Bombyx Labs designed a series of custom AI Agents, built and trained over the course of one week. The first Agent sampled each swatch in various locations and lighting conditions. Then, an average color was determined and matched to an RGB code. Finally, all additional information was automatically entered into the database alongside the improved RGB swatch.

Our Client’s ancient website sold 500,000+ automotive items, each of which was only suited to a particular vehicle. Customers struggled to identify the right product, and customer dissatisfaction was high. Out-of-the-box templates like Shopify were impossible for this complicated catalog, so updating was difficult and could only be completed by the business owner.
OUR SOLUTION
Custom Shopify templates
Bombyx Labs completely overhauled the sales channel, streamlined content, and customized templates to enable a Shopify experience. This allowed for a smoother checkout, better lead-capture systems, and increased customer retention. We generated over 2M vehicle images, descriptions, and instructions so that customers felt confident enough to buy.

The Client’s e-commerce customers were hesitating between several similar products. To combat this problem, the Client had added so much guidance that each listing read like a novel. Customers didn’t read, and they didn’t buy.

Decision support AI Agent
We created a custom decision support AI Agent. We added a “Help Me Choose” button at the friction points. Users received an email requesting specific information, followed by detailed guidance specific to their products. All emails were validated by a human for one week, then the AI Agent had enough training to run autonomously.

72% of email recipients purchased within 3 days.
